Doomsday Destroyer review by Santa07

A ride that is slightly too extreme to be a family ride, but not intense enough to be a high-thrill ride. Even though it's a ride that MW needed and the surrounding area's theming is great, the ride experience is definitely one of the weaker ones at MW and doesn't live up to the likes of other flat rides on the GC such as the Claw and Wipeout.
Review Criteria
Enjoyment
A relatively fun ride that appeals to a wide range of audiences.Effectiveness
Sits in the middle of the family and thrill audience, not catering particularly well to either one - too thrilling for families while not intense enough for thrill-seekers. As a flat ride, it's good but nothing stellar - definitely not as good as some of DW's flats.Intensity
Intensity is where this ride is lacking.Rider Comfort
Harnesses can be painful if pushed in too tight.Pacing
Pretty good ride time, one or two more inversions would have been more fun for me.Theming/Storyline
The Supervillains area is fantastic, however the theming on the actual ride perhaps could be a little more immersive (eg the queue's theming is not much more than a few street signs and sparse subway theming). For a flat ride though, it's a great effort and rivals the likes of Wipeout and Tail Spin's theming.Upkeep/Presentation
It's brand new.Queue/Efficiency
For a high-capacity flat ride that's meant to be a crowd-chewer, it should be cycling very quickly. Unfortunately the staff are quite slow at loading, which largely impacts the effectiveness of this ride.More Reviews
