Individually-controlled wings for spinning means this ride can be one of two things: gently sweeping through the air, or gently sweeping through the air while frantically rotating. As a flat ride it's one that would work for the whole family were it not for its prohibitive rider height restriction. It really is a pleasant ride by any measure. Marketed as a major thrill ride is where Tail Spin lets itself down; it's by far the weakest link in the park's "Big Thrill Rides" collection.
