Conveyor belts are a staple of most water rides. Because the boats can safely back up against each other in the water sections, the blocking systems are generally simpler than normal roller coasters.

The barrel roll was not an original feature of the ride. Originally it was a vertical twist reaching 57m high. This was found to be in breach of local height regulations, so the ride was rebuilt with the sloping barrel roll to get it under the local 46m height limit.
