Though the characters are all unique, there's definitely inspiration drawn from undersea franchises like The Little Mermaid, Finding Nemo or Shark Tale.

Narrowly bordered by the Flume Ride, Jet Rescue and the Skyway, it's nothing short of a miracle that Sea World were able to squeeze an off-the-shelf ride model into such as tight space.

The catch with both attractions is they don't open till later in the day. We'd recommend getting to Sky Climb right on the posted opening time, it works on a booking system, so your session could well be late afternoon if you turn up a little later.

Some parts of the ride are very close to the ground. Look to the left of the cardboard box in the middle of the photo, and a couple of supports only a few centimeters high can be seen.

Sea World's water park has been completely gutted, apart from the 'Mammoth' slide, to make way for a new attraction.

Once these vines take hold there should be some welcome greenery and shade.

The once expansive bar counter has been reduced to a small corner to make way for more seating with an area to queue. In essence, a large bar that handled crowds well was reduced to make room for a queue, because the new smaller bar doesn't handle crowds. In all their wisdom, Sea World have gone against the typical practice in Australian bars of a separate queue for food. There's only one line, meaning that anyone just wanting to buy a drink must brave the same wait as those in front order meals for the whole family.

This is accomplished with boat shaped vehicles, and a special track system with 6 rails to guide the vehicle through the track. Normal coasters have two rails, with wheels that clamp around the track. In this case, the vehicle sits within the track.

In a Parkz exclusive, we can offer the first glimpse (literally) of the trains used on Jet Ski Rescue. They feature a contoured, tapered saddle (like a real jet ski) an a U shaped padded lap bar (Best described as an upside down version of the restraints seen on Superman Escape. Importantly, the trains seats feature a permanent backrest (Similar in Style to those used on an Intamin Aquatrax) rather than a sliding backrest as seen on Mick Doohans Motocoaster.*Note: These photos were taken from a distance with a zoom. The photographer did not open, nor enter the shipping container.
