The bulk of the footings are round, with varying numbers of bolts protruding. The black box suspended in the middle of the each exists to leave room in the concrete for a rectangular protrusion at the bottom of the support columns that Mack coasters feature.

We felt the Saw maze had the better theming, with scenes true to the film, though the Zombie Apocalypse maze had sheer length on its side, and its disorientating layout, full whiteout of fog, and constant strobe lighting and sirens made this one the winner.

Between drilling and filling with reinforced steel and concrete, it's best that construction workers don't fall down these holes that are 5-10 metres deep in some cases.
